The construction of the Beijing Daxing International Airport was successfully completed and is expected to be opened on or before September 30, 2019. The self-levelling screeds of OPTIMIX Group were adopted in the construction of the car park at Beijing Daxing International Airport. The OPTIMIX SF878 Self-Levelling Screed (Heavy Duty) and OPTIMIX SF80 Primer were used in the 3-storey car park with a construction area of 60,000 square meters, providing a smooth, safe and solid surface for the travellers.   Seven Wonders of the Modern World After more than four years of construction, Beijing Daxing International Airport, selected as one of the "Seven Wonders of the Modern World" by The Guardian, is set to begin operations on 30 September. It is the world's largest single-terminal airport. The new airport is expected to handle 100 million passengers and accommodate 880,000 flights per year, surpassing Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in the US to become the world’s busiest by passenger traffic. The gigantic airport will also play a key role in the Belt and Road Initiative and further boost the economic development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.   The terminal building was designed by the world-famous Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA) and the French planner ADP Ingenierie (ADPI).  The design celebrates the connectivity and dynamism of air travel, expressed as a sequence of inspirational inter-connected public spaces. The flowing roof lines cover the large, column-free spaces and provide a sense of scale and orientation, welcoming the world to Beijing.   The First AI Robotic Parking System Among the China Airports There are many intelligent features in the new airport. Among all, an automated parking system with two robots will serve 148 parking spaces, making it the first robotic parking system to be used among airports in China.    OPTIMIX Self-Levelling Solutions OPTIMIX SF878 Self-Levelling Screed (Heavy Duty) is a premium quality premixed mortar consists of special cements, graded fillers, polymers and chemical additives. When mixed with water, it readily blends to produce a flowable and pumpable flooring mortar.  It can be applied at thickness between 3mm and 15mm in one operation to provide a levelled and flat floor surface. OPTIMIX SF878 can also be applied to all normal rigid substrate and suitable for use in apartment units, shopping malls, offices, hotels and schools. It is designed to set and gain strength quickly for light foot traffic in 4 hours. OPTIMIX SF80 Primer is specially designed as surface pretreatment agent and bonding primer between the OPTIMIX Self-Levelling Screeds and substrates.

Located in 8 King Sau Lane, Tuen Mun, the architectural design and facilities planning of this project are exquisite, easily becoming the new icon of young chic lifestyle in the area. The buildings partially adopted Optimix BP126 Base Plaster and TA328 Tile Adhesive (Flexible) for indoor and outdoor wall plastering and tiling. Following last year’s success, Optimix is honoured to receive the “BOCHK Corporate Environmental Leadership Awards – Eco Partner” once again. On 29^th May, Optimix Group representatives were awarded Eco Partner certification at the prize giving ceremony of 2018 BOCHK Corporate Environmental Leadership Awards, co-organized by Bank of China (Hong Kong) and Federation of Hong Kong Industries. Being able to be awarded for two consecutive years is a great assurance of our production teams’ efforts in environmental protection.   BOCHK Corporate Environmental Leadership Awards aim to promote environmental practices among manufacturing and services enterprises in Hong Kong and the Pan Pearl River Delta region through rewarding the participating enterprises of their achievements in the reduction of pollutant emission.
