    OPTIMIX Self-leveling System Offers a High Performance Solution for Carpark Flooring.
    Keang Peng School is one of the oldest established schools in Macau. A new campus for its primary school section has been in operation since September 2016, with a total construction area of approximately 27,800m². An OPTIMIX system was adopted for the carpark flooring area of 1,500 m². The system has good abrasion resistance, impact resistance and aging resistance, providing a high quality material for floor leveling with good durability.     OPTIMIX Fast-setting Spalling System Adopted in Rapid Concrete Repair Work
    Hung Hom Cross Harbour Tunnel is one of the most congested roads between Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. The OPTIMIX fast setting spalling system has been adopted for concrete repair to the soffit areas along the northbound and southbound tunnels. Each tunnel is 1.8 km in length and has been operated since 1972 and, as such, the soffit area for the lower ventilation duct has suffered from concrete deterioration. The rapid setting characteristics and desirable workability of the OPTIMIX product demonstrates its outstanding performance and has replaced the previous system of epoxy resin materials for concrete repairs.     OPTIMIX external wall system was selected for a major renovation project at Hong Kong Industrial Centre, which is concentrated with retail and wholesale fashion outlets. Over 10,000 m² of external wall was refurbished with high quality wall plastering and tiling systems, using: •  OPTIMIX BP138 Base Plaster (Waterproof), •  OPTIMIX TA328 Tile Adhesive (Flexible) and •  OPTIMIX TG410 Tile Grout.

    Seminar at Construction Industry Council (CIC)
    A Technical Presentation, together with a Product Application on Advanced Dry Mortars for Construction was successfully achieved at the Construction Industry Council (CIC) Seminar on 28 April 2016, with the technology for various OPTIMIX dry mortars being introduced. The Product Application not only demonstrated the product features to all participants but also initiated interactive discussion on system solutions for future works.

    Annual Concrete Seminar 2016 (ACS)
    The Annual Concrete Seminar 2016 (ACS) organized by the Standing Committee on Concrete Technology (SCCT) was successfully held at Young Square in Chai Wan on 20 April 2016.   Ir Raymond Wan, Technical Director of OPTIMIX, made a key note presentation "Green Technologies of Concrete - Concrete without OPC", which provided an invaluable forum for the industry and the professionals in the government to share their experience and exchange ideas.
