The “ISS’ Got Talent Scholarship 2024 Prize Presentation Ceremony cum Talent Showcase” was successfully held on December 8. Mr. Jason Chow, Senior Manager - Corporate Marketing and Planning at Optimix, attended the event as a guest, joining other attendees to witness outstanding performances by talented young participants.   Through the earlier judging process, we were deeply impressed by the dedication and perseverance demonstrated by each participant in music, sports, and artistic creation. Their efforts and growth not only highlight the diverse potential of the younger generation but also underscore the importance of providing platforms and opportunities to nurture talent within the community.   We firmly believe that supporting youth talent development is an investment in the community’s future. Looking ahead, we will continue to engage in and support such initiatives, working hand in hand with various sectors to create broader opportunities for young people, encouraging them to use their talents and creativity to make a positive impact on society.

Optimix is pleased to announce that our Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Calvin Chan, has been recognized by the as the “2024 Pioneer in the Dry Mortar Industry.” This prestigious award acknowledges his exemplary leadership, innovative vision, and unwavering commitment to advancing the development of eco-friendly building materials.   Under Mr. Chan’s leadership, Optimix adheres to a “quality-first” philosophy and actively develops low-carbon, environmentally responsible products that meet the highest industry standards. Beyond this, the company has integrated smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 concepts into its Zhuhai production base, fueling the region’s drive toward a new era of industrialization. Optimix’s products are widely used in major national infrastructure projects, including the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and Beijing Daxing International Airport, showcasing the company’s strong capabilities and significant industry influence.   In addition, Mr. Calvin Chan is actively involved in social welfare initiatives, from offering care to grassroots communities to coastal conservation. Each year, he leads the company in participating in various charitable and volunteer activities, demonstrating the company's sense of responsibility.   In addition to his contributions within the industry, Mr. Chan’s recent appointments further highlight his sense of responsibility and dedication across multiple fields. He has been invited to serve on the committee of the Construction Innovation and Technology Application Centre (CITAC), join the executive committee of the Hong Kong Young Industrialists Council, and assume the honorary presidency of the Hong Kong “Customs YES” Development Program. These engagements not only enhance the public image of the mortar industry but also ensure its voice is heard, inspiring the younger generation and society as a whole.   Mr. Chan is also deeply committed to corporate social responsibility. From supporting grassroots communities to participating in conservation efforts, he leads Optimix in various charitable and volunteer initiatives each year, demonstrating the company’s civic commitment through concrete action.   Looking ahead, Optimix will continue to embrace both innovation and sustainable development, accelerating the implementation of low-carbon technologies to help achieve national “carbon peak” and “carbon neutrality” goals. Optimix has once again been awarded the “Guangdong-Hong Kong Clean Production Partner (Manufacturing)” commendation, receiving the official certificate at the presentation ceremony on October 31. Jointly launched by Hong Kong’s Environmental Protection Department and the relevant authorities in Guangdong Province, this program encourages Hong Kong-invested enterprises in both regions to adopt clean production technologies, thereby enhancing overall environmental quality. Securing this certification consecutively marks another significant milestone in Optimix’s ongoing journey toward green production and sustainable development.   As an active advocate for cleaner production, Optimix will continue to implement innovative solutions to reduce energy consumption and emissions, further elevating its environmental credentials. We look forward to collaborating with more industry partners to promote clean production, ultimately contributing to sustainable industrial progress.

Optimix has always adhered to supporting various social welfare activities, committed to promoting a harmonious and inclusive social environment. Recently, our caring volunteer team once again demonstrated this commitment by participating in the "Construction Industry Lo Pan Rice" campaign and the Mid-Autumn Festival warm wishes event, delivering care and blessings to grassroots families in Siu Sai Wan.   On August 7, during the "Construction Industry Lo Pan Rice" campaign, the Optimix volunteer team distributed 150 hot meal boxes to grassroots families and Elderly Center in Siu Sai Wan, allowing those in need to feel the warmth of the community. We express our gratitude to the Construction Industry Council for their collaboration and the full support of the Siu Sai Wan Volunteer Team, and we look forward to partnering with more organizations in the future to bring about meaningful changes in the community.   As the Mid-Autumn Festival approached, on September 13, Optimix once again collaborated with the Siu Sai Wan Volunteer Team to hold the Mid-Autumn warm wishes event, distributing thoughtfully prepared Mid-Autumn decorations to 300 local residents and sharing in the joy of the festival. The residents were filled with smiles during the event, exchanging festive greetings and creating a strong holiday atmosphere.   Optimix will continue to support various public welfare activities, giving back to society through concrete actions and demonstrating corporate social responsibility. We believe that through close cooperation with the community, we can create a better tomorrow together.

August 13, 2024, OPTIMIX proudly received two prestigious awards at the “BOCHK Corporate Low-Carbon Environmental Leadership Awards 2023,” organized by the Federation of Hong Kong Industries. This marks the seventh consecutive year OPTIMIX has been recognized for its ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, showcasing our leadership in the industry.   Our Dongguan production base was honored with the "EcoPartner" and "5 Years+ EcoPioneer" awards, a testament to its outstanding environmental performance over the years. Even more impressive, our Zhuhai production base was awarded the "EcoChallenger" in its first year of participation, highlighting OPTIMIX’s determination and success in implementing comprehensive environmental protection strategies across all production sites and advancing the circular economy.   As we look ahead, OPTIMIX remains steadfast in our dedication to sustainability. We will continue to innovate, drive eco-friendly initiatives, and contribute to a greener, more sustainable future.
