OPTIMIX RM770 Repair Mortar (Sprayable) is specially formulated for reinstatement of large areas of spalled concrete caused by reinforcement corrosion, fire damage or other areas where spray application provides a cost effective reinstatement method. OPTIMIX RM770 is particularly suitable for use as overlayment for titanium anode mesh of the cathodic protection system. It can be used for both vertical and overhead applications without the use of formwork. In general, OPTIMIX RM770 can be applied up to 100mm for overhead application per layer. Depending on the density of the exposed reinforcement, reinstatement using multiple layer application is also appropriate.
OPTIMIX RM780 Repair Mortar (Rapid Setting) is specially formulated for emergency reinstatement of damaged or deteriorated concrete. It can be used internally and externally. The fast setting and high strength abilities are best suitable for airport runways, railroads, aprons, and heavy traffic locations where downtime is critical. It is designed to use for horizontal applications and for vertical applications with the use of formwork. In general, OPTIMIX RM780 can normally be applied up to 50mm or up to 250mm with addition of graded aggregate.
