OPTIMIX TM177 Thixotropic Mortar is premium quality pre-mixed mortar which consists of special cements, graded fillers, lightweight aggregates, thixotropic agents, polymers and chemical additives. When mixed with water, it readily blends to produce a trowellable and moldable mortar for outdoor and indoor projects and create decorative elements such as artificial stones, simulated rocks, embossed brick, etc. It can typically be applied at a thickness between 10mm to 40mm to provide a mortar base for subsequent carving works. OPTIMIX TM177 can be applied to concrete substrates, brick wall and panels with metal reinforcing lath. It is designed to provide a highly durable artificial sculptured surface to receiving coating finish. This product is fire resistant and complies with the performance requirements specified in BS EN 1364-1: 1999, BS476: Part 22: 1987 and GB/T 9978.8-2008.
